Our mission is pretty simple: to deliver high-quality, cutting-edge video game titles to consumers.

Company Overview

The Bucharest studio is part of Ubisoft, a company which has development staff in 28 studios (19 countries) and has sales in more than 55 countries around the globe, being one of the most important players in the gaming industry. Besides game design, the studio in Bucharest hosts one of the company’s most important game testing divisions. Having over 800 employees, Ubisoft Bucharest is always on the look out for new talents, trying to develop innovative and high quality titles, like the much appraised Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X series.

Who are we, where do we came from and what do we strife for? These are questions we have answered hundreds of times since the beginning in 1992, when the studio had been founded. That was the moment when Ubisoft decided to open its first studio abroad, nowhere else but in Bucharest. Long years have passed since then and the modest beginnings represented only by 2 graphical artists and 4 programmers turned into a real success story, Ubisoft Bucharest having in the present more than 800 employees. After almost 20 years we have developed some really popular games such as Chessmaster 10th Edition, Silent Hunter III, Silent Hunter 4: Wolves of the Pacific, Blazing Angels: Squadrons of World War II and Blazing Angels 2: Secret Missions of WWII, Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X 1 & 2, Assassin’s Creed series starting with Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood, Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Future Soldier, Just Dance series and Watch Dogs.
