Requirements

• Medium German language skills, especially written (B1/B2), are mandatory;
• Advanced English knowledge;
• Previous experience within a contact centre or customer service environment would be an advantage;
• University studies (in progress or finalized);
• Proficiency in using MS Office application;
• Customer service oriented;
• Positive, enthusiastic, friendly attitude;
• Discipline & strict compliance with policies & procedures;
• Ability to learn, seek knowledge and self development;
• Demonstrate Vodafone competencies: Customer Obsessed, Innovation Hungry, Ambitious & Competitive, Speed, Simplicity, Trust.

Job Purpose

Act as a back office interface with German speaking customers of Vodafone companies worldwide. Role involves responding to customers’ written correspondence and resolving their inquiries; the role doesn’t involve verbal interaction with customers. The main purpose is to facilitate and provide a Vodafone global customer service standard.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement and Interaction
• Interact with native German customers in written, via email or other communication platforms;
• Establish the purpose of the communication and effectively manage the communication;
• Identify secondary (possible or hidden) needs and attempt to add value accordingly.

Resolve customer needs and issues
• Act as a first point of contact with customers and potential customers to support general basic and complex queries;
• Offer appropriate solutions and alternatives to customers;
• Keep customer informed of actions throughout the communication process if needed;
• Clearly explain details and next steps.

Processes and Systems
• Correctly and efficiently follow business policies and processes;
• Provide accurate, complete, concise and relevant information to the customer;
• Use correct communications etiquette;
• Confidently and correctly navigate systems to expedite outcomes and source information;
• Accurately and swiftly log in data.

Work as part of a team
• Create and promote an environment that fosters both individual and team advancement to ensure the outstanding delivery of customer service;
• Maintain professional work relationships with colleagues, supervisor and manager.
